Job Summary:

The General Warehouse Associate at Home Depot Distribution plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within our distribution centers. This role focuses on receiving, storing, and preparing merchandise for shipment to Home Depot stores nationwide. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload incoming shipments with accuracy and efficiency.

• Inspect merchandise for quality and report any damaged or missing items.

• Organize, store, and manage inventory according to established procedures.

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring correct labeling and documentation.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors safely and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.

• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Experience:

Working Hours:
