Home Depot is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service / Lot Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience, both in-store and at the lot. The ideal candidate will be friendly, efficient, and ready to handle a variety of tasks ranging from assisting customers with purchases to organizing and managing the lot inventory.
As a key member of the Home Depot team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized environment while supporting the overall operational goals of the store.
Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing product information and guidance as needed.
Load and unload products for customers safely and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety in the lot and surrounding areas.
Support inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and tracking merchandise.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests, escalating when necessary.
Assist other departments as needed to ensure seamless store operations.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols consistently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Basic math and computer skills to handle transactions and inventory tasks.
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in retail, customer service, or warehouse/lot operations is a plus.
Experience in handling merchandise, inventory, or heavy lifting is advantageous but not required.
Full-time or part-time positions available.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Shift schedules may vary based on store and operational needs.
Knowledge of basic safety procedures and safe handling of merchandise.
Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or carts (training provided if required).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
