Job Summary

Home Depot is seeking a reliable and energetic Freight / Receiving Associate to join our night shift team. As a critical member of our operations, you will ensure that merchandise is received, unloaded, and stocked efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries from trucks and verify incoming shipments against invoices or manifests.

• Inspect merchandise for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.

• Organize and transport products to designated storage areas or sales floors.

• Stock shelves and maintain orderly and safe warehouse conditions.

• Assist in inventory management and cycle counts as needed.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more) and perform physical labor.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and verification.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Experience

• Previous warehouse, retail, or shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.

• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.

Working Hours
