American Express is seeking a customer-focused and tech-savvy Evening Shift Chat Support Representative to join our remote customer experience team. In this role, you will provide real-time assistance to customers via live chat, ensuring prompt, accurate, and professional support during evening hours. You will play a critical role in delivering world-class service while upholding the trusted American Express brand standards—all from the comfort of your home.
Respond to customer inquiries through live chat in a timely, courteous, and professional manner
Assist customers with account-related questions, transactions, product features, and general inquiries
Resolve issues efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores
Document all customer interactions accurately in internal systems
Follow established policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines
Identify opportunities to educate customers on relevant American Express products and services
Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary
Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times
Excellent written communication skills in English
Strong customer service orientation with problem-solving abilities
Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, digital environment
Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems

Previous experience in customer service, chat support, call center, or hospitality is preferred
Experience in financial services or customer support roles is an advantage
