Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Applied AI Engineer to join our FinTech Risk & Fraud team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning models to detect, prevent, and mitigate financial risks and fraudulent activities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML models for risk assessment, fraud detection, and financial anomaly identification.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and risk analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights and identify potential vulnerabilities.

• Continuously monitor and improve model performance, ensuring high accuracy, low false positives, and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Conduct research on emerging AI techniques and apply them to solve complex risk and fraud problems.

• Design scalable AI pipelines and integrate solutions into production systems with robustness and efficiency.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. PhD is a plus.

• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or Java, with hands-on experience in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

• In-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, anomaly detection, and deep learning architectures.

• Experience with large-scale data processing using SQL, Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with financial risk management, fraud detection strategies, and FinTech regulations.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, preferably in the FinTech, banking, or financial services domain.

• Proven track record of developing production-grade AI solutions that address risk and fraud detection.

• Experience with deploying machine learning models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time role, typically Monday to Friday, 40–45 hours per week.

• Flexibility to accommodate global team collaborations and occasional urgent operational needs.

• Remote or hybrid work options may be available depending on business requirements.
