Job Summary

Hulu is seeking a highly motivated Content Moderator (Ads/Safety) to join our dynamic team, ensuring a safe, compliant, and engaging experience for our users. This role focuses on reviewing, assessing, and moderating advertisements and content in alignment with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and a proactive approach to content management. This is a remote opportunity with fixed weekends off, providing a balanced work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate advertisements and user-generated content across multiple platforms to ensure compliance with Hulus content policies and industry regulations.

• Identify, flag, and escalate inappropriate, unsafe, or non-compliant content in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Product, and Trust & Safety, to maintain content standards.

• Maintain detailed records of moderation actions and decisions to ensure accurate reporting and analytics.

• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve content quality, policy clarity, and moderation processes.

• Stay updated on current trends, regulations, and emerging threats in digital content safety.

• Assist in training new moderators and sharing best practices within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.

• Familiarity with content management systems and moderation tools is a plus.

• Knowledge of digital advertising standards, online safety, and community guidelines.

• High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to upholding content policies.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in content moderation, digital advertising, social media management, or related fields.

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments is preferred.

• Prior experience in online safety, trust and safety, or compliance roles is a strong advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with fixed weekends off.
