Job Summary

Wayfair is seeking a highly talented and visionary Lead Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Brand Creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for elevating Wayfairs brand identity through compelling visual storytelling, designing innovative marketing campaigns, and ensuring a cohesive brand presence across all channels. You will lead creative projects from concept to execution, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and mentor a team of designers, driving the creative direction of the brand while delivering exceptional, high-quality design work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of visually compelling marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms.

  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design materials.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to translate business goals into creative solutions.

  • Mentor and guide a team of designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.

  • Conceptualize and design innovative graphics for advertising, web, email, and social media campaigns.

  • Present creative concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining the integrity of the design vision.

  • Stay ahead of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to keep Wayfair at the forefront of brand innovation.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, marketing, and digital design.

  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.

  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

  • Excellent conceptual and visual storytelling skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills to inspire and guide design teams.

  • Strong communication skills for articulating design concepts to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.


Experience

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a marketing or brand-focused role.

  • Prior experience leading design teams and managing creative projects end-to-end.

  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer-focused brands is highly desirable.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position.

  • Standard business hours with flexibility to accommodate project deadlines and collaborative meetings across teams.

  • Remote or hybrid work options may be available depending on team alignment and project needs.
