Job Summary:

Walmart is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our Global Logistics Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of Walmarts worldwide supply chain network. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to optimize logistics processes, enhance inventory management, and support global operations in delivering products to our customers seamlessly.

The Supply Chain Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, transportation, warehouse management, and IT, contributing to the companys mission of providing customers with the right products, at the right place, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze, and report on key logistics performance metrics, including transportation costs, delivery accuracy, and inventory levels.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, forecasts, and operational reports to support data-driven decision-making.

• Identify process inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities in the global supply chain and recommend actionable solutions.

• Support global logistics planning, including shipment routing, carrier selection, and warehouse allocation.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of supply chain operations.

• Assist in the implementation of supply chain technology solutions and automation initiatives.

• Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues and propose corrective actions to enhance supply chain performance.

• Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, safety standards, and Walmarts operational policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, or other supply chain analytics tools.

• Knowledge of global logistics operations, transportation management, and inventory control.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and present findings.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations analysis, preferably in a global or multinational organization.

• Experience with global shipping regulations, import/export documentation, and international logistics preferred.

• Exposure to supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) is an advantage.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position.

• Standard business hours with flexibility to coordinate across different time zones for global operations.
