Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor (Short Form/TikTok) to join our global content team on a remote freelance basis. This role is ideal for a passionate video editor who understands short-form storytelling, social media trends, and audience engagement across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar channels. You will play a key role in shaping our digital presence by transforming raw footage into high-impact, scroll-stopping content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms

• Create engaging, fast-paced content with strong hooks, captions, transitions, sound effects, and visual effects

• Apply color correction, motion graphics, subtitles, emojis, and on-screen text aligned with brand guidelines

• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, formats, and viral editing styles

• Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and social media managers to meet campaign goals

• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

• Optimize videos for performance metrics such as watch time, engagement, and conversions

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software

• Solid understanding of short-form video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements

• Creative mindset with a strong sense of timing, rhythm, and storytelling

• Ability to incorporate trending sounds, effects, and visual styles effectively

• Good command of English for understanding briefs and collaborating with global teams

• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing, preferably focused on short-form or social media content

• Prior experience editing TikTok, Reels, or Shorts for brands, influencers, or digital agencies is highly preferred

• A strong portfolio showcasing short-form video work is required
