Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer (Python/SQL) to join our international project teams. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures that support data-driven decision-making across global clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with large and complex datasets, and contribute to innovative solutions used in diverse industries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

• Work extensively with Python and SQL to process, transform, and optimize large datasets.

• Build and manage data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting needs.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with global data standards.

• Optimize query performance and improve data processing efficiency.

• Support international projects by understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and system issues in production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-based data services.

• Experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark).

• Good understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a similar role.

• Proven experience working on complex, enterprise-level or international projects.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.
