Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Travel Consultant (International Voice) to join our growing travel operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling international travel queries, bookings, and customer support over voice processes. This role requires hands-on expertise with IATA regulations and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to deliver seamless travel solutions and exceptional customer experiences for global clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound international voice calls related to travel services.

  • Assist customers with flight bookings, rebookings, cancellations, and ticketing.

  • Manage end-to-end travel arrangements including air tickets, itineraries, and fare rules.

  • Use GDS platforms to search, book, issue, reissue, and refund tickets accurately.

  • Ensure compliance with IATA rules, airline policies, and fare regulations.

  • Resolve customer queries, complaints, and service issues professionally and efficiently.

  • Provide clear and accurate travel information, including visa, baggage, and fare conditions.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in CRM systems.

  • Meet quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction benchmarks.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills in English (international voice experience preferred).

  • Proven expertise in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or Worldspan).

  • Solid understanding of IATA rules, fare construction, and ticketing procedures.

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

  • Good computer skills and familiarity with CRM/ticketing tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


Experience

  • Minimum 1–4 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in an international travel voice process.

  • Hands-on experience in international air ticketing and GDS operations is mandatory.

  • Exposure to BPO/KPO or travel management companies is an added advantage.


Working Hours

  • 5 days working / 2 days off (rotational).

  • Shifts aligned with international business hours.

  • Flexible to work rotational shifts as per business requirements.

  • In-depth knowledge of international travel operations and airline processes.

  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining service quality.

  • Strong listening, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
