Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribes to support US-based physicians through real-time (live) medical scribing. This role is critical in enhancing clinical efficiency by accurately documenting patient encounters during live consultations. The ideal candidate will have strong medical knowledge, excellent listening and typing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, night-shift environment aligned with US time zones.

As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with physicians across various specialties, ensuring precise and timely clinical documentation while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform live medical scribing during real-time patient encounters with US doctors

• Accurately document patient histories, chief complaints, review of systems, physical examinations, and assessment and plans

• Enter clinical data into Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems promptly and accurately

• Assist physicians by preparing and organizing patient charts prior to consultations

• Ensure documentation complies with US healthcare standards and HIPAA regulations

• Edit and proofread clinical notes for accuracy, completeness, and consistency

• Adapt to different physician documentation styles and medical specialties

• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and data security at all times

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Allied Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field

• Excellent English communication skills (listening, writing, and comprehension)

• Strong medical terminology knowledge

• Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 50–60 WPM preferred)

• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multitask and work under time-sensitive conditions

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience as a Medical Scribe, Clinical Documentation Specialist, or similar role

• Fresh graduates with strong medical knowledge and scribing training are encouraged to apply

• Prior experience in live scribing for US healthcare providers is an added advantage

Working Hours

• Night Shift (US Time Zones – EST/CST/PST as per client requirement)

• 5 days a week

• Fixed or rotational night shifts depending on project allocation

• Ability to quickly interpret and summarize complex medical information

• Proficiency in medical abbreviations and clinical language
