Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with strong knowledge of US GAAP to support our finance operations for US-based clients. This is a remote, night-shift role, ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and have hands-on experience managing end-to-end accounts payable processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely vendor payments, and compliance with US accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, validation, and payment execution

• Review, code, and post vendor invoices in compliance with US GAAP and internal controls

• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts

• Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment-related queries

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable

• Maintain accurate AP aging reports and ensure adherence to SLAs

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable for US-based entities

• Proficiency in accounting software/ERPs such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)

• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Strong time management and organizational skills

Experience

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or Finance & Accounting roles

• Prior experience supporting US clients is mandatory

• Experience in shared services or global delivery models is preferred

Working Hours

• Night Shift (US Time Zones – EST/PST)

• Work From Home model with stable internet connectivity required

• Full-time role, 5 days a week
