Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced US Accountant to support a reputed US-based CPA/CA firm. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks and Xero, a solid understanding of US accounting standards, and the ability to work efficiently during US night shifts. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and collaborate closely with US clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting for US-based clients

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance

• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Work extensively with QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and Xero

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

• Support CPA/CA teams with audit preparation and documentation

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and client-specific accounting policies

• Communicate with US clients via email and virtual meetings to resolve queries

• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness of financial data

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Xero

• Good understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)

• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet strict deadlines

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity

Experience

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in US accounting or bookkeeping

• Prior experience working with US CPA/CA firms is highly preferred

• Exposure to US tax basics (1040, 1065, 1120) is an added advantage

Working Hours

• US Night Shift (aligned with US/Canada business hours)

• 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

• Fixed shift with rotational flexibility based on client requirements
