Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team, supporting a major US-based client. This role requires an expert in Java development with a strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, object-oriented programming, and enterprise-level application development. The position is fully remote but requires alignment with the EST time zone to ensure smooth collaboration with the US client.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance for complex projects.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.

• Optimize application performance and ensure security, scalability, and maintainability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to improve team capability.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Java (SE and EE) with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred).

• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Jenkins.

• Expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of professional Java development experience.

• Experience working with US clients or teams in EST time zone is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in enterprise-level applications, fintech, or e-commerce domains is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position.

• Must overlap with EST working hours (typically 9 AM – 6 PM EST) for client coordination and team meetings.
