Job Description
We are currently hiring a Career Counselor for our team in Coimbatore! If you're a fresh graduate or just starting your career in counseling, this is a fantastic opportunity for you. As a Career Counselor, you’ll assist students and professionals in making informed decisions about their education and career paths. Training and support will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Career Counseling: Advise students, professionals, and job seekers on career choices, educational paths, and job opportunities
- Resume and Interview Preparation: Guide candidates in preparing their resumes, cover letters, and offer interview tips
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct career assessments to understand strengths, weaknesses, and goals of individuals
- Provide Information on Courses & Jobs: Help students choose suitable courses and educational programs based on their career aspirations
- Follow-up Support: Regularly follow up with students and professionals to track their progress and offer ongoing guidance
- Workshops & Seminars: Organize and conduct career development workshops and seminars to support community development
Qualifications & Requirements
- Freshers with a passion for counseling are encouraged to apply
- Bachelor’s degree in any field; degrees in psychology, human resources, or education are a plus
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A keen interest in helping others navigate their career and education paths
- Ability to build trust and rapport with students and professionals
- Good understanding of the job market, educational institutions, and career paths
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
