Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and security-focused Remote DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, cloud security best practices, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance system reliability, strengthen security posture, and accelerate deployment pipelines in a modern DevSecOps environment. Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Enforce cloud security best practices, including identity management, network policies, and vulnerability remediation.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security using modern observability tools.
Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to embed DevSecOps practices.
Manage containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Continuously optimize cloud costs, performance, and reliability.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and architecture.
Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Solid experience with Docker and container orchestration.
Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and DevSecOps practices.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
4–8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles.
Proven production experience managing Kubernetes at scale.
Demonstrated experience implementing cloud security controls.
Experience working in fully remote or distributed teams is a plus.
Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, or security certifications) are highly desirable.
Fully remote role with flexible scheduling.
Preference for overlap with global team time zones when required.
Occasional on-call rotation for production support.
