Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and security-focused Remote DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, cloud security best practices, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance system reliability, strengthen security posture, and accelerate deployment pipelines in a modern DevSecOps environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

• Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Enforce cloud security best practices, including identity management, network policies, and vulnerability remediation.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using modern observability tools.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to embed DevSecOps practices.

• Manage containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Continuously optimize cloud costs, performance, and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and architecture.

• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Solid experience with Docker and container orchestration.

• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).

• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and DevSecOps practices.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.

Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles.

• Proven production experience managing Kubernetes at scale.

• Demonstrated experience implementing cloud security controls.

• Experience working in fully remote or distributed teams is a plus.

• Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, or security certifications) are highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Fully remote role with flexible scheduling.

• Preference for overlap with global team time zones when required.

• Occasional on-call rotation for production support.
