Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote QA Tester – Web3 & DeFi Feature Testing to join our distributed technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of cutting-edge Web3 applications and decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms. You will work closely with blockchain engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to validate smart contract functionality, user flows, and system performance across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Web3 and DeFi applications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on decentralized platforms.

• Validate smart contract behavior, wallet integrations, and blockchain transactions.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.

• Conduct API testing and ensure data integrity across distributed systems.

• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

• Perform security-oriented testing focusing on vulnerabilities, edge cases, and risk scenarios.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release readiness reviews.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.

• Experience with Web3 technologies, blockchain platforms, and DeFi concepts.

• Familiarity with smart contracts, wallets, and decentralized applications (dApps).

• Proficiency in manual testing and exposure to test automation tools.

• Experience using bug tracking systems such as Jira, Trello, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST clients, etc.).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience testing Web3, blockchain, or fintech products.

• Prior experience in testing financial systems, crypto platforms, or distributed systems is highly desirable.

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is a plus.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position.

• Flexible working hours aligned with global teams.

• Availability for overlapping hours with core team (typically 4–6 hours per day).

• Full-time role (40 hours per week).
