Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our remote team. This role focuses on ensuring the security, compliance, and integrity of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud security frameworks, risk assessment, auditing, and compliance standards. You will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive data, implementing security best practices, and ensuring our systems meet regulatory requirements. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security policies and controls across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines.

• Monitor cloud environments for security incidents, respond to threats, and maintain incident response protocols.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats, cloud technologies, and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare detailed audit reports, compliance documentation, and risk assessments for internal and external stakeholders.

• Recommend security solutions and improvements to optimize compliance and reduce organizational risk.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience with compliance frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, or GDPR.

• Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and vulnerability management systems.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, compliance, or IT security roles.

• Proven track record of managing cloud infrastructure security and conducting compliance audits.

• Experience working in remote or distributed team environments is a plus.

Working Hours

• This is a fully remote role with flexible working hours.

• Occasional collaboration with global teams may require some overlap with different time zones.
