Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of our Internal Developer Portals. This role requires a strategic technologist who can bridge the gap between engineering teams and internal tooling, ensuring developers have seamless, efficient, and secure access to resources. As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will shape the developer experience, optimize workflows, and implement best practices in platform engineering, contributing directly to the growth and efficiency of our engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of internal developer portals, tools, and platforms.

• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to identify platform needs and implement scalable solutions.

• Define and enforce platform standards, best practices, and developer experience guidelines.

• Mentor and guide engineers on platform architecture, code quality, and development processes.

• Drive the adoption of automation, monitoring, and observability solutions to streamline internal workflows.

• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance developer productivity and platform performance.

• Ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability in alignment with company objectives.

• Partner with leadership to define platform strategy, roadmap, and long-term technical vision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in backend development (Python, Node.js, Go, or Java) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Proven experience in building internal developer platforms, portals, or developer tools.

• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), microservices, and infrastructure as code.

• Solid knowledge of API design, authentication/authorization protocols, and platform security best practices.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools to ensure platform reliability.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience guiding engineering teams.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Experience

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in platform engineering or developer tooling.

• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and driving platform adoption across organizations.

• Experience in startup or fast-paced environments is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time role; flexible remote working hours.

• Occasional overlap with global engineering teams may be required for collaboration and meetings.
