Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Remote Financial Controller with a strong focus on Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee the companys financial health, ensure accurate reporting, and integrate ESG considerations into all financial planning and analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support business strategy.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and ESG reporting frameworks.

• Integrate sustainability metrics into financial reporting, investment analysis, and corporate strategy.

• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to maintain financial stability.

• Provide insightful financial advice to executives and key stakeholders for strategic decision-making.

• Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify ESG risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with ESG-related performance indicators.

• Support fundraising efforts, investor reporting, and financial audits with transparency and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and ESG reporting standards.

• Experience with financial software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and data analytics tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or controller position.

• Prior experience in ESG-focused financial reporting or sustainability accounting is highly desirable.

• Exposure to startup environments, fast-paced industries, or technology-driven companies is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours.

• Must be able to coordinate with international teams across different time zones as needed.
