Global MNC Tech is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, reliability, and safety of electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, with a strong commitment to minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in the manufacturing plant.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, panels, control circuits, PLCs, drives, and other plant equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of power distribution systems, transformers, generators, and backup power systems.
Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment as per operational requirements.
Maintain electrical drawings, maintenance records, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies at all times.
Coordinate with production, mechanical, and utility teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Support energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the plant.
Assist in vendor coordination, spare parts planning, and inventory management for electrical components.
Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Hands-on experience with motors, starters, VFDs, PLC panels, sensors, and control systems.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and root cause analysis techniques.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Awareness of electrical safety practices and statutory compliance requirements.
1 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial plant.
Freshers with strong technical knowledge and internship/industrial training exposure may also be considered.
Rotational shifts / General shift depending on plant operations.
Willingness to attend breakdowns, emergencies, and planned shutdowns as required.
Sound understanding of industrial automation and electrical maintenance processes.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and reliability.
Effective communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
