Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist Cigna members with their healthcare-related inquiries, including understanding benefits, claims, coverage options, and provider information.

  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive outcome.

  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding plan details, coverage, and eligibility.

  • Guide members through the use of Cigna online tools, resources, and member portals to enhance their experience.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer issues, confirming resolution and satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in Cigna customer management systems.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve more complex inquiries or issues.

  • Provide feedback to management on recurring issues, customer concerns, and potential service improvements.

  • Stay up-to-date on Cigna products, services, and processes to ensure accurate information is provided to members.




Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for members.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a customer-first mindset.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in using customer service software, including call management systems, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.

  • Knowledge of healthcare products, insurance terminology, and the healthcare industry is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.




Experience:



  • Previous experience in a customer service role is required, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or related industries.

  • Experience working in a remote, work-from-home setting is a plus.
