Cigna Healthcare is looking for a skilled and dynamic Telemedicine Operations Manager to oversee the operations of our telemedicine services remotely. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the delivery of telemedicine services, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth operational processes. You will collaborate with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external partners to enhance the telemedicine experience, implement operational improvements, and ensure the scalability of services. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Cigna telemedicine services, ensuring efficiency and high-quality care delivery.
- Oversee a team of telemedicine coordinators, clinicians, and support staff, providing guidance and training to ensure exceptional patient experiences.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to telemedicine services and implement strategies to improve service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement telemedicine policies, procedures, and best practices that align with Cigna healthcare goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure telemedicine platforms are optimized and user-friendly, addressing technical issues as needed.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging telemedicine technologies and trends to enhance service offerings and expand access to care.
- Develop and manage telemedicine budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and privacy requirements related to telemedicine, including HIPAA and other healthcare laws.
- Analyze telemedicine service data and generate reports to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with external vendors, healthcare providers, and other partners involved in telemedicine services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing remote teams in a healthcare environment.
- In-depth knowledge of telemedicine technologies, platforms, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics, identify trends, and drive improvements in service delivery.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with telemedicine software, healthcare management platforms, and other related technologies.
- Ability to handle confidential patient data with integrity, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within telemedicine or a related field.
- Previous experience managing virtual care operations or a telemedicine program is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a remote, virtual team environment is a plus.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours.
- Must be available for occasional evening and weekend shifts, depending on business needs.

- Strong understanding of telemedicine workflows, virtual care processes, and healthcare delivery models.
- Ability to analyze operational performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.

- Technical proficiency with telemedicine platforms and healthcare management software, including virtual consultation tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
