Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our clients, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions that enhance the user experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Provide prompt and professional technical support to clients via phone, email, and chat.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other technical teams to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Training: Create and update user guides and training materials for end-users.
  • Feedback: Collect and analyze client feedback to improve support processes and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a technical support or IT support role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer Service: Experience in delivering exceptional customer service.

Experience:

  • Previous Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a technical support or IT-related role.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in a similar industry is preferred but not required.

Working Hours:

  • Schedule: Full-time, with flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
  • Availability: Must be available for occasional weekend and evening support as needed.
