Key Responsibilities
- Review and accurately code medical procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Ensure compliance with medical coding guidelines and regulations.
- Process and submit insurance claims to payers.
- Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in coding standards and regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical billing and coding is a plus.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience
