We are urgently looking for a Speech Therapist to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals.
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with speech and language disorders.
Educate patients and their families about speech therapy techniques, exercises, and progress.
Help children, adults, or elderly patients improve communication skills, articulation, and fluency.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Provide support to patients with swallowing disorders, voice problems, and cognitive-communication issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and methods in speech therapy and integrate them into your practice.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
Licensure/Certification: Valid Speech Therapist license/certification (where applicable) and registration with relevant professional bodies.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in speech therapy (preferred but not required).
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy and patience when working with patients of all ages.
Ability to assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
Knowledge of various speech therapy techniques and approaches.
