Cigna is seeking a Customer Service Associate Representative to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Customer Service Associate Representative, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to our members, assisting them with their healthcare needs, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound customer calls regarding health insurance, medical plans, billing, claims, and general inquiries.
Assist members with policy information, benefits coverage, claims status, and any issues related to their health plans.
Provide clear, accurate, and timely information to customers regarding their healthcare coverage and benefits.
Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional, empathetic, and effective manner.
Research and troubleshoot member issues, including eligibility, claims, and billing questions.
Support customers in navigating Cigna’s digital tools, such as the mobile app and online member portal.
Process requests for medical records, authorizations, and claims resolutions.
Accurately document customer interactions, maintaining detailed records of all communications.
Escalate unresolved issues or complex inquiries to higher-level staff or relevant departments.
Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call resolution, customer satisfaction, and response time.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred, especially in healthcare or insurance, but not required.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle sensitive situations.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
Empathetic and patient attitude when interacting with customers.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
Proficient in using computers and various software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM systems).
Comfortable navigating digital platforms and troubleshooting basic tech-related issues.
Job Requirements
