HR Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our team on a part-time, work-from-home basis. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain practical experience in the HR field while managing a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will support our HR department in various tasks and projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with new hires and departing employees.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HR information system.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and performance management processes.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including organizing meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices is a plus.
Experience
- Prior internship or work experience in a Human Resources or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Experience with HR software or databases is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week.
