Job Summary:
Cigna is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team remotely. As a Human Resources Advisor, you will provide expert HR support, guidance, and advisory services to our employees and managers. You will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers on a wide range of HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Support the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
- Administer employee benefits programs and respond to related inquiries.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- Proven experience in HR advisory or generalist roles.
- Experience in conducting employee investigations and resolving employee relations issues.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data management.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position.
