Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor comments, videos, and live chat interactions to ensure they adhere to YouTubes community guidelines and policies.
• Identify and address inappropriate, harmful, or abusive content promptly.
• Respond to user inquiries and resolve issues related to content moderation.
• Collaborate with the content creation team to provide feedback on community trends and concerns.
• Report and document violations, providing insights and recommendations to improve moderation strategies.
• Stay updated with YouTubes policies, community guidelines, and best practices for content moderation.
• Assist in developing and updating moderation guidelines and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in content moderation or a related field.
• Strong understanding of YouTubes community guidelines and policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain objective and unbiased while moderating content.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using moderation tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field.
• Experience working with social media platforms, especially YouTube, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online community management is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with flexible working hours.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure round-the-clock moderation coverage.
